How We Support Search Missions
K9 teams are certified by nationally recognized search organizations in addition to team training requirements prior to becoming a deployable asset. Our focus as an organization is to develop trained and qualified live-find K9 teams.
All team members complete training requirements for ground searchers in North Carolina, as well as demonstrate competency in search theory, lost person behavior, and the technology utilized by North Carolina first responders.
We believe in a 360-degree approach to search response, which includes prevention. Community education and outreach is one of the many ways we support prevention. We also have a junior searcher program for youth!
